Comedian Micky Flanagan once did a hilarious bit of stand-up about how no-one REALLY enjoys a weekend break. As much as we cracked our sides nodding and laughing, we reckon you CAN enjoy a weekend break with a bit of clever planning and maybe a few stiff drinks!
Do your research and pick somewhere you really want to go. A weekend of art or love – you’re only going to be there for a few days so pick somewhere rich with the things you’re actually interested in.
Pay close attention to getting to and from the airport. We can take care of your airport taxi this end, but what about when you land at the other end? Some airports like are several hours outside the city itself. Be sure to book a taxi to keep your return stress-free.
Don’t over-plan and spend the whole time rushing about. Choose two or three things for each day but assume you won’t get them all done. Are you on a break or a military mission?!
Enjoy eating and drinking. For most folks, relaxing is all about sitting back and tasting the good life, so make sure you actually DO sit back and enjoy yourself!
Don’t take your mobile phone or computer. Give the number of the hotel as an emergency contact and then switch off for a few days before our airport taxi ferries you home. Thank you for choosing Apex Cars Bracknell, view our Google Reviews to see what people say about us.
