An incredible amount of planning goes into executing the perfect wedding. Rome wasn’t built in a day, and the same concept applies to your wedding planning! Dresses must be picked, venues selected, and cakes tasted. It can all overshadow another important aspect of your big day – wedding transportation.
Apex Cars Bracknell – Wedding Transport
It’s no good having exquisite cake toppers or a meticulous seating chart if your guests (or you, god forbid) aren’t there on time. Read on to discover the top 7 tips for choosing the perfect wedding transportation when you tie the knot.
Find the Perfect Match
We’re not just talking about your significant other! Finding the perfect transportation company that matches the wedding you have in mind is key. Check their reviews, and get referrals – you want to be sure that your wedding limo will complement the rest of the wedding, so see if they have the style and color that suits you. It’s also helpful to check if the company does backups, should anything happen to your limo on the day of your nuptials.
Create A Wedding Day Timeline
It’s never too early to book your wedding transportation! When there are three to six months to the wedding date, it’s best to start looking for transportation. This is after you’ve planned your guest list and settled on reception, and ceremony venues. While you may not have every single detail of your wedding planned yet, you should be able to map out a possible timeline. This will make it easy for you to figure out your transportation needs, and you’ll be able to spell out your needs to the rental company a whole lot easier.
Think About Your Budget
When it comes to your wedding, sticking to the budget is imperative. Once you’ve got your budget for wedding transportation sorted you can figure out how long you want the limo for, if you want a stretch limo, if you’re able to provide a guest shuttle, and so on. Make sure you ask if there is a discount for longer hours, or booking shuttle service as well. Most transportation companies will oblige.
Do Your Research
Before you sign on the dotted line, you’ve got to do your research! If you want to be thorough, here are some questions you should ask before you book your wedding limo:
- How old is the vehicle?
- Is a gratuity included in the rental price?
- What is the cancellation policy?
- Do you offer package deals?
- Are any extras (champagne, decorations, snacks, sunroof) included?
Keep Your Wedding Party in Mind
There’s more than two in the wedding, and you’ve got to keep that in mind! Make sure your limos can accommodate the entire wedding party, bridesmaids, groomsmen, and your immediate family. You don’t want everyone crammed uncomfortably with veils, bouquets, and bowties akimbo, so make sure you choose your wedding vehicle accordingly.
Take a Look at the Vehicles
Once you’ve settled on the vehicles you want, make sure you schedule a visual inspection of the car(s), especially your wedding car! It’s important to make sure everything is up to date, and that you’re not getting catfishes by the pictures. If you’re getting décor done as well check and see other arrangements that have been done by the company so you don’t get disappointed on your big day.
